DAY 14!
Today was Sunday, which meant that we were able to see a lot of people all in one day. While Adam was in Pittsburgh he served in two different wards and he wanted to visit both of them while we were in town. The first ward started at 9am which meant getting up early after a really late night. We went to Sacrament meeting and left because we were really tired and needed a nap. But before we left we were able to visit some of the people in the ward. It was also interesting to see the little differences between the wards in Pittsburgh and in Arizona. I grew up with those who are speaking sitting on the stand throughout the meeting. In Pittsburgh they walked up to speak from the audience. After going back to the hotel and taking a nap, we ate lunch and headed back to the church for the nest ward's meetings. They were both great wards and we got to meet some great people. I could tell that so many people came to really know and love Adam as he was serving there.
While at church, we talked to a family that Adam knew from before his mission. They had moved here to go to school, but he grew up in Cottonwood with Adam. They invited us over for dinner that night and it was delicious! We had lettuce wraps that had rice, a chicken something, and then some kind of sauce. It was so good. Then after the delicious dinner, we played with their kids. They were so cute! They played the piano for me and played Uno with us. It was fun to just relax and have fun with the kids.
When we went home, we tried to pack everything as well as we could. It was a fun time, but I am definitely ready to start heading home.
