DAY 8!
Today was a fun and yet still productive day. The first thing we did was laundry. It took us a little while to find a laundrymat but we eventually did and were able to get it done. While it was washing and drying we ate breakfast and tried to organize our week in Pittsburgh as much as we could. Next, we drove down to the Waterfront to watch Harry Potter! We hadn't had time to see it yet so we thought it would be a good day. It was amazing! They did an amazing job keeping it intense and keeping the audience on the edge of their seats. It was a great way to end the series. After Harry Potter we went shopping because I had only brought a couple of pairs of pants with me on this trip and one of them was getting holes in them. I needed new pants so we went and found a pair for me.
A man that Adam knew on his mission told him that he wanted to get together with us and anybody else from the ward for Family Home Evening. We got to the park he told us to meet them at a few minutes late. We waited and waited for them. We heard from him that they were runnimg a little late. Well. . . Nobody else showed up and they came about an hour late. Oh and during this time it was raining. FHE was fun though! We ate the rice-kale-squash and their delicious blueberry cake that they brought. While we were eating we talked to them a lot. They asked about how we met and more about us. Another subject was planning. Bro. Stoddard was a planner for a long time in Pittsburgh and him and Adam talked about that for a while. After dinner with the Stoddards we went to visit another couple that Adam knew from his mission, the Kesslers. They were a wonderful couple visit with. They are converts that Adam visited a lot. They liked to talk with anybody about anything. They were happy people that really enjoyed visiting with us.
